Federal health agencies have been working for decades to modernize service delivery. However, the COVID-19 pandemic helped to accelerate these efforts and initiated a culture shift to adopt technology solutions that optimized patient outcomes and experiences. In a recent podcast published by our colleagues at Government Technology Insider, Monica Rosser, Health Market Lead at Maximus, shared best practices for navigating challenges like data interoperability by using innovative technology to improve the future of patient care.

“We are at the intersection of a new model of care – in which customer experience with the patient as the navigator in their own health – whole health ecosystem is paramount,” Rosser said. “Federal health agencies, using enabling technologies will be able to reduce provider burnout, enhance customer satisfaction, and provide an interoperable view of the entire patient.”
